Five Eight Group is a distributor of the Rohde & Schwarz TSMA6B Autonomous Mobile Network Scanner 5G FR1 and 5G FR2 Drive Test Systems.

Our 5G FR1 System has a frequency coverage up to 6 GHz, while our 5G FR2 System will reach up to 17-53GHz with a downconverter.

These various multi band and multi technology scanners are ideal for verifying the coverage area of all networks simultaneously. Each system decodes all channels in multiple technologies.

Both systems arrive with configurations for vehicle based drive tests and battery powered walk tests.

Five Eight Group will program the export of your data to meet the specific capabilities of the law enforcement agency's call detail record mapping system.

Five Eight Group delivers each Drive Test System in person and provides training for up to three personnel. The training has classroom and field components which encompass the familiarization and use of the system along with documentation for evidentiary purposes.

  • A drive test, or cell site survey, describes the process of measuring and illustrating the radio frequency of cell sites in any given area. This method is used by all cellular providers for the purpose of network optimization.

  • By comparing this cell site survey against Call Detail Records, obtained by search warrant from the various cellular providers, law enforcement gains a clear visualization for the historical location of a cellular device. The cell site survey explains or eliminates anomalies, corroborates evidence and solidifies cell site location information for experienced investigators, analysts and technical units.

  • Five Eight Group can also perform cell a site survey for a fee for those unable to purchase a system. This service includes travel to your location and a full day of drive testing. We then provide you the evidence for your use in court. We are also available for court testimony as it relates to the data collected during these radio frequency surveys.
